Product description

Roman White Granite is one of the world's most versatile and timeless export granites — a dense, fine-to-medium grained igneous stone quarried from ancient Precambrian geological formations. Its hallmark is a luminous off-white to pale ivory backdrop subtly sprinkled with fine silver-grey, charcoal, and occasional deep garnet mineral flecks, lending the stone an elegant, balanced, and serene visual texture. Formed under extreme magmatic heat and geological pressure over billions of years, Roman White Granite is classified among the hardest and most resilient natural granites commercially available, offering outstanding resistance to scratching, chemical etching, and environmental weathering. Its exceptional polish retention, structural uniformity, and low maintenance requirements make it the granite of choice for premium kitchen countertops, high-traffic commercial flooring, exterior architectural cladding, and monumental stonework worldwide.

Processing & Machinery Assessment

GANGSAW & MULTI-WIRE SAW SUITABILITY

This block has been assessed as fully compatible with heavy-duty granite gangsaw equipment and modern diamond multi-wire saw machinery. Standard block dimensions of L-300 cm × B-170 cm × H-140 cm fall directly within the optimal processing window for maximum yield slabbing. Roman White Granite’s homogenous crystalline distribution, absence of directional cleavage planes, and consistent physical hardness ensure smooth, low-vibration sawing with minimal blade deflection and exceptionally low kerf waste.

  • Recommended Processing: Gangsaw or diamond wire-saw slabs (2 cm & 3 cm), followed by surface calibration, epoxy resin treatment (if required), and high-gloss polishing or honing
  • Expected Slab Yield: Approximately 88–96 slabs per block (based on 3 cm thickness) or 100–110 slabs per block (based on 2 cm thickness)
  • Finish/Polish Result: Deep mirror-like gloss with high light reflectivity that illuminates the pristine white ground and reveals the intricate garnet mineral accents
